WOW: Robert Akeley

At 80 years old, Robert Akeley, a neighborhood icon for nearly three decades, wanted to exhibit a series of paintings he began forty years ago. His continued work as a psychotherapist has influenced his painting style, which veers from portraits to 'word' paintings. As a neighborly gesture, marksearch curated a two-month exhibition at a local gallery. Barn-parties with members of his creative community, photos and interviews accompanied the installation.
